Prosper is involved in every stage of a Primark retail design project. We start with initial feasibility studies, helping assess the viability of future sites, moving into landlord shell negotiations, then preparation of detailed design and tender packages, through to construction drawings and working with the main contractors on site.
This wraparound care ensures that every store delivered meets Primark’s exacting design and fit out standards.
After developing the feasibility studies and store layout designs for Primark’s flagship Gran Via store in Madrid, Spanish heritage requirements meant that the on site delivery required a local architect. Prosper was delighted to be retained as an Architectural Consultant on the project, fulfilling a liaison role. We worked with the client, site architects, interior designers, and services consultants to ensure the final store respected the original designs, whilst integrating the new interior design concept into a conservation sensitive site.
Our most recent stores completed for Primark include their new store in the recently renovated and extended Westgate Shopping Centre in Oxford, Birmingham’s Merry Hill and an iconic 75,000sqft store in centre:MK is currently the largest new store to open at the centre in over 25 years.
