The Elephant and Castle Town Centre Development is a £1.5bn mixed-use project which is scheduled to complete in 2026.
The development provides approximately 1,000 new homes, 135,000 sqft new retail, restaurant and leisure, 55,000 sqft new office, an upgraded tube station, and a new campus for London College of Communication.
Collaborative work
Following the retail design concept study, Prosper continue to work with the client development team on this prestigious and unique creation of a new Town Centre at the site of the old Elephant and Castle Shopping Centre. Significant collaboration with multiple client-side consultants, masterplan Architects, Conservation groups and planning professionals has been required.

This continues to provide varied opportunities to bring our unique blend of expertise across macro-view, strategic, public realm development and retail strategy but also focussed onto individual units and tenant conversations.
Celebrating communities at different scales
Prosper continue to provide design and architectural client support to progress this complex and significant development. Despite its scale, a balanced and sensitive approach is required for both the capital and the local communities it must continue to support and champion.
